November 19, 2020

The 2020 Firefighter Recruit Academy 71-1 is complete! Recruits were put through 80 hours of hands-on training topics ranging from EMS, vehicle extrication, and structure and vegetation fires. Recruits will now begin their Probationary Firefighter Task Book for the next couple months. Congratulations to the recruits and we are glad to have them aboard!

October 6, 2020:

Fire Captains Phillip Goldbloom and Greg McGill were officially badged tonight! Fire Captain Goldbloom was hired in March 2020 and Fire Captain McGill was hired in October 2020. With the passing of Measure A in 2019, Templeton Fire & Emergency Services was able to hire these highly qualified individuals to begin the 24/7 staffing model on October 31, 2020.
