The Templeton Community Services District is recruiting for a part-time, Maintenance Worker I. Works under the supervision of the Utilities Supervisor and/or Maintenance Worker III in the construction and repair of water, wastewater and storm drain facilities, assists in laying pipe, repairing leaks and installing meters; assists in the installation, cleaning and repair of culverts, drains, ditches, sewer lines; maintains grounds, recreation facilities, and related areas; plant, transplant, remove, prune, fertilize and water landscape; install and/or repair sprinkler systems; stocks trucks; drives service trucks; assists in maintenance and repair of general yard and shop equipment; assists in construction and maintenance of District property and performs other duties as requested. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Successful hires shall be fingerprinted, and will be required to pass a District paid physical examination. Templeton Recreation is hiring part-time, Recreation Leaders I and II. We are looking for upbeat, can-do, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with elementary and/or middle school age children. Responsibilities include: Supervision of Homework Club, arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor activities, special events, event planning and/or other duties, as assigned. ECE units desired. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Successful hires shall be fingerprinted. Afternoon shifts available from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Additional hours available during spring break & summer. Wage $7.50 -$9.11 per hour. Flat stipend for mileage for hires living in SLO or coastal communities. Successful hires shall be fingerprinted.
Skate Park Monitors

Templeton Recreation is hiring part-time, Skate Park/Facilities Monitors. Monitors oversee the Templeton Skate Park, adjoining Community Garden, and Youth Center areas. Requirements: good communication skills & ability to work with youth. Outdoor position. Pay range: $10.42 - $12.66 per hr. Flexible days. Afternoon shifts, Monday – Friday and/or weekends (a.m./p.m. shifts). Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have CA driver’s license.
