The purpose of the Templeton Recreation Department is to
provide for the services of one Recreation Supervisor,
two full-time Recreation Coordinators and 80% of one Utility
Worker II B position. The recreation supervisor oversees the development
and implementation of active and passive recreation programs
of interest to the community. The recreation coordinators
implement these programs.
This Budget
Unit also provides for the operation and maintenance of
the Bethel Road Park, the Ever’s Sports Park and the new Skate Park Facility.
Activities
include: General Recreation, Soccer, Basketball, Softball/T-Ball,
After-School, Youth Center
Programs.
